Ranking/Rating? - Guild Wars Forums

Ok im really confused I just joined a guild with a ranking of 7,000 and something... now is that good or bad?! Is it the higher rank the better or lower? I know the higher rating the better but im just confused about the rank!

Rank 7,000 means that they are the 7,000th best guild in Guil Wars. A lower rank is better.

So when it says that you have won a guild battle +28 or whatever does that mean its adding to Rating or Ranking?

It adds to Rating. It doesn't tell you when you change ranking, as it changes all the time.
